Firstest off, Happy Birthday to my lil Porkchop, Christie! LuvU PC.
OK, here is a photo with some ultra-cool technological … stuff … done by me. You can see the small hasp where Julie got her arm caught as she slipped from the top step. It probably didn’t catch her until she was 10 inches or so off the swim platform, but that was the 10 inches that did all the damage.

The boat is a little further away from the dock in this photo that it usually is, it moves slightly around inside the slip. But that is where I guess I kind of threw her from the swim platform to the dock. She was standing just to the right of the ladder.

Also in a houseboat at the “J” dock are Dave and Karen. They owned this boat for 20 years! Karen took a tour of it the other day and said how much she loved the boat, but needed something a little nicer on the knees. I hear that! <Insert photo of Dave and Karen by the boat which I never got around to taking, but I have the picture in my mind of how I should have done it> <dangit>
I got the boat all unloaded yesterday and cleaned up this morning. We’re going to have to sell it, as it is a little too much to consider for right now. Even if we do get back on the water to attempt the loop, we’ll have to have a boat with stairs (no ladders), and some other newer advances that are easier on the body. It’s too bad, we were really looking forward to starting next week.

Here’s the new flooring we just put in the cockpit. Got rid of the old carpet. Hope that helps the resale value!

Thanks to all of ya’ll for your prayers and blessings and support. Doesn’t look like we’ll be having any more adventures to blog about, so I’ll be signing off from blogging. If you need my phone or email, contact me here and I'll send it.

Blessings to all ya’ll!!
