Don’t let him fool you.  Yes, he did catch a rabbit today on our walk. We are able to be off-leash at 6:15 in the morning in a nice park next to the Marina.  I heard it squeak and convinced Biscuit to let it go.  Which he did and then the rabbit started to run so he caught it again!  But the SECOND time he dropped it we moved on.  Whether it lived or not I couldn’t tell.  Lots of times they will run away and survive if I can get him to drop it.  But all that toughness is just an act.  The Coyote of the StreetsTM was scared of the thunderstorms that came through on Monday evening.  Loaded him up with gabapentin and put his thunderjacket on and fortunately, the storms didn’t last too long.

It rained all day yesterday, total of 1-2 inches in Red Wing.  It was a good test for us to be on the boat, see if there were any leaks, how the canvas would hold up.  So far, so good!  Glad we weren’t driving in it and we could just chill on the boat.  Got a lot of the small things done on my punch list – organized galley and head, got rid of another box of trash.  So happy we trucked it all the way from Montana!

Snuggle time!

Because it rained all day, we got in a lot of snuggle time with Biscuit.  Well, with all of us actually.  It feels like I have to be trained to learn how to relax.  I did read a couple of chapters in a book yesterday and played my guitar.  So I am progressing in my training.

There are 3 air conditioning units on the boat.  We absolutely cannot figure out how to control them.  Walk into the forward stateroom and it’s either heat

miser or cold miser – there is no in between.  Our boat mechanic, Steve, was out to look at a couple of things and he couldn’t figure it out, so I called a place and they will be out next Wednesday to take a look.  They worked on the a/c units last year as well.  The good news is: the salon a/c unit is working, just too cold.  So if you don’t have an air conditioner working properly, too cold is better than too hot.

Julie caught up to Biscuit and I on our walk this morning, which was good to see her out of bed and moving.  She’s been worn out and napping a lot.  Stress (whether it’s good or bad) is not good for people with MS.  Hopefully she’s over any stress and getting back to herself.  Blessings to all ya’ll!
