It’s 94 degrees and sunny! Are we out on the water? Heck no, it’s 20 mph+ winds with higher gusts. It’s just not fun in those conditions. Looking around the marina, most folks seem to agree.
On Thursday we had a couple of guys from Marine Specialties doing some work on the boat, so we just hung out here. But hey, we’re retired. Tired yesterday, tired today, tired tomorrow. Retired, again.

Yesterday we had another outing on the kayaks. It was kind of windy, and Biscuit got spooky after we were out on the water because of some kids shooting fireworks, so it wasn’t exactly “fun” it was a “challenge.” It would also have been a challenge to get photos, so we have none.

But we did get out on the water, and twice now Julie has gotten off the dock and into her kayak, and then reversed that upon return. If I could film her getting out of the kayak and onto the dock, we’d win America’s Funniest Videos. She isn’t exactly graceful. But I’d also get my teeth punched in, so probably best it isn’t on video. I will probably get my teeth punched in just for mentioning it. {Note to self: delete this paragraph}

We had thunderstorms last night and this morning, so Biscuit is medicated. We are all watching UFC in the air-conditioned salon of the Falcon Ranch. It’s not a bad way to spend the day. Heck, we might order a pizza and have it delivered. Take that my York peeps!

Blessings to all ya’ll!
Ohhh my heart!! Biscuit is so stinkin cute!! 😍😍
BEAUTIFUL clouds!!
Yes, be careful what you say about your beautiful wife. I’ve been known to be not-so-graceful and would not appreciate my clumsiness being filmed.
Keith is not joking, then getting in the kayak isn't too bad. It is 18 inches down from the dock to the kayak. I sit on the side and then kind of plop into the kayak. Getting out is hilarious!! Again it is 18 inches from the floating kayak up to the floating dock. In theroy, I think I will get on my knee, then step up onto the dock. However, the way it has worked is, I get on my knee and kind of flopped belly down onto the dock. Then I lay there and laugh before I get on my hands and knees and eventually can stand up. Best part is that I haven't fallen in while getting…
