The First Blog

I can barely spell "blog" let alone know how to post one. Here are Julie's thoughts, that should suffice for now. Experimental Blog to follow. Ex-blog-imental!! Blog-tastic.

You know how everyone has dreams of doing 'something' exploring or having an adventure. Then we find ourselves getting older and having less energy or umupff to do those things we thought of a s a kid or young adult. 

Then sometimes a situation presents itself and there are some of us dumb enough or courageous enough to jump out and do that adventure. 

My husband and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary happily married this year. So why not head out on an adventure of a lifetime and live on a 38 foot boat 2 years together, alone. Sounds perfect! 

Oh and bring our border collie who thinks the world revolves around him along too. 

Welp that's what we are doing. We both retired last year from our employment. Started our own LLC Falcon Ranch Enterprises, and got things set up to travel around Montana, where our ranch is and we have lived for over 20 years. Then we got all Huck Finn and thought about having this adventure of being on a boat and heading down the Mississippi River. Kind of grabbed our hearts, so we are following that dream.
